Sister Nivedita University is not only the digital partner of the International Kolkata Book Fair but also have bright and talented students from our university who launched their books today at the SNU stall. It’s an honour to introduce these emerging authors. Let’s get to know the brilliant minds behind these extraordinary works.

Moutrisha Chakraborty: “কংক্রিটে ফোটা জুঁই “ is about the people who deals with poverty and live there life full of struggles but in between all this things they know how to find happiness in everything , the jui word is used to tell the readers how you can always find a way to live life in every situation.

Sandipta Bhattacharjee: “আমার কবিতার ক্যানভাসে “is her first published book, a book completely based on poems on different phases of life, on asking she said she loves to write poems every day and this book is just a glimpse of what she writes every day and how she see life through her poems.

Sagarika Chatterjee: “কাজল রাঙা মেয়ে“ is a poem about separation, here the emotion of separation is showed through a girl's perspective which contains both sadness and happiness in love.

The books were inaugurated by their professors Saikat Majumdar and Arindam Basu.

With joy and success in their hearts, the students stood together as their books were released. The university evolved into a platform that allowed them to express publicly. As evidence of their perseverance, hard effort, and the strength of self-belief, their books were now displayed on shelves. They knew they would keep writing stories and it was not only the conclusion of their literary voyage but also the start of new ones.
