Life saving efforts at SNU stall

The department of Allied health science from SNU at the 48th international Kolkata Book fair organized a CPR workshop and quiz.

The students of SNU grabbed public attention by announcing about the interesting quiz game. A fair amount of crowd was formed within a few mins to participate after the announcement. Gifts were provided  to all who participated , which made it more interesting for people to take part in that game. 

They also performed a CPR ( cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) demonstration, which was done by the students very confidently. The CPR demonstration was a strong reminder of life saving skills which attracted a huge crowd of visitors who got a brief with understanding medical emergencies.


This demonstration was an excellent example of how educational events can extend beyond books and reading.A free health check up session was organised which  will be conducting on daily basis beside CPR demonstration and quiz game for making people concious about their health conditions.

The quiz game tested knowledge of the visitors in a fun friendly way. Alternatively the CPR demonstration is a very innovative and unique way for promoting awareness and importance of first aid skills.

The later part of the day saw another interesting quiz session with the department of Microbiology and Biotechnology.

The quiz held in the open space in front of the stall attracted the eyes of many individuals who visited the fair. With every question presented to the audience, the crowd increased. People were noticed to be very active and eagerly reciprocated with the department. With every correct answer the audience were awarded with small appreciation tokens presented by the department. It successfully positioned itself and grabbed eyes of one and all.
